Job description

Collaboration with employees or safety representatives on all matters relating to safety and health in the workplace, on the hotel premises or facilities in accordance with the relevant Occupational Health and Safety Management regulations.
Performance of inspections of workplaces, facilities, machinery, devices, etc. in order to identify hazards and indication of protection and prevention measures.
Collaboration with the external partner in the preparation and review of the Written Risk Assessment and overseeing the implementation of findings and recommendations.
Monitoring the implementation of preventive and protective measures.
Overseeing the implementation of the Risk Management System.
Preparing relevant reports for all incidents involving work-related accidents.
Submission of suggestions to the employer for measures or actions to be taken to improve safety and health levels in the workplace.
Responsible for the certification of water slides on an annual basis.
Managing the relevant inspections by government and semi-government agencies, Travel Agents or Insurance Companies.
Preparing and monitoring the execution of the annual staff training plan on issues related to Safety and Health in collaboration with the Human Resources Department.

Required qualifications

Successful completion of the in-depth program on Occupational Safety and Health (Internal Protection and Prevention Services)
Approved by the Chief Inspector of the Labour Inspection Department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same position
University Degree in Engineering, Environmental Health or other related degree
A Master’s degree in Health and Safety will be considered an additional qualification
Excellent knowledge of the Greek and very good knowledge of the English language (written and spoken)
Very good computer knowledge (MS Office)
